Switchpod Producer will allow you greater control over your audio. This is
the software that you can use to record, edit, and upload your audio files to
switchpod.com automatically.
Though everyone can use Switchpod Pod
Producer, you will need an ftp account at Switchpod to upload your mp3s
automatically to Switchpod.com. You will need a
premium account to upload files to Switchpod.com automatically.
However, anyone can save episodes to his computer.
To use
Switchpod Producer, do the following: Download the program at
http://switchpod.com/SP_setup.exe Click on the Record
button to record your episode. Click on the stop bottom Click on Save
episode Check the box where it says Upload your Mp3 to Switchpod.com Where it says
File Name, please write a name for your recording. Make sure
the file name that you write includes the mp3 extension. (.mp3). For example, to
save your recording as Test.mp3, in the file name field, put test.mp3 Click
on Save button.
Your mp3 will be saved to the directory named
ftp inside your file directory.
Make sure that that you
put your Switchpod username (not ftp username) as username and ftp password (not
Switchpod password) as password.
